Welcome to the EVAT Virtual Conference!

The Emerging Voices for Animals in Tourism is back for 2023! This conference is grounded in progressive and innovative praxis where ongoing collaborations can be formed through the sharing of emergent voices in academia, advocacy, and industry. Hosted by Fanimal and The Civet Project, this virtual conference will bring a diverse group of voices together to collaborate on ideas around animal ethics, sustainability, and welfare that will contribute to the growing research on animals in tourism. We are offering three registration options, one for emerging scholars/artists/professionals at $15, one for established scholars/artists/professionals at $50, and a new option for this year: established scholars/artists/professionals with unlimited live colleagues/students for $125.
